Responsive view of the BMW Webapp layouts

Project Details

The BMW Webapp is an international employee magazine appearing in print and digital form.

The pitch required both a visual and structural update to the existing publication.

As art director, I worked with the editorial team to define a new visual concept to work with the new structure. I took my inspiration from the BMW marketing promise: “Freude am fahren” – translated, “Driving pleasure”. I reduced this to its essence: movement. Thus, the site needed to be simultaneously dynamic and progressive. Through different scrolling speeds, the user encounters a completely new experience.
